The Venue

Barking Abbey School, conveniently located only a 10 minute walk from Upney Station and a 10 minute drive from Barking Station. 

The venue offers a variety of spaces for sporting activities includinig the BASE, a full size sports hall, dance studio, a 3G football pitch and a variety of function rooms to let out.

Indoor facilities to hire

The BASE is a brand new facility to hire which provides the space of 3 full size netball courts, it is fully equiped with markings, lightings and offers a huge variety of equipment dependent on your desired activties. This space is ideal for netball, basketball, hanball, badminton, football, korfball, fusball, dodgeball, conventions, events, rehearsal space, fashion shows/fairs, as a filming location, and so much more!

There is also a 3G astro pitch which is a full size 11 aside pitch which can be split into three 7 a side pitches. It is fully floodlit and offers the required nets. It is ideal for clubs, schools, leagues, regular or casual booking, and events
